Interpals 1st About Me Review

I'm eL from East Java, Indonesia-SE Asia, 17. Mein Name eL, siebzehn Jahre alt. Ich komme aus Indonesia. This is my last year on high school.

I play basketball, love sports, photography, painting.

INDONESIA est ma nationalité

Indonesia is not located in "an" island. Because Indonesia has more than 17 thousand islands (all the big, small, named, no named, inhabited and uninhabited- islands). Pretty tough to unite but we have been united for a long time ago when age Mesolithic (from Yupa statue-the Kutai Kingdom's in 4th century).
Lots of culture, different human races, ancient languages, tanned skin almost of the local peoples, big waved beach, and vulcanos.

I lived in high populated island called Java. To me, the population nearly exploded. Because Java become highest populated   province in Indonesia.

Indonesia also known as "Ring Of Fire". Because there are more than 200 volcanoes which surrounds Indonesia.
Speaking about the nature's greatness, this is a piece of God's art in Indonesia. Exactly, located at 4 different cities 's territory (Probolinggo, Pasuruan, Lumajang, and Malang)

The Huge Volcano's Crater In East Java: Mount Bromo

Active Volcanic Mountain (we call it like that. In Indonesian: "Gunung berapi aktif")
Bromo Mountain is surrounded by smooth-white sands. Until we can't pass through by riding motorcycle. We need Jeep or other off-read vehicles. The weather is much colder than in the downtown. But we still can feel the warmth of the sun. It's terribly awesooooomeee.

this is the stairs to go to the Mount Bromo's Crater

Another Huge Crater In East Java: Kawah Ijen

Mount Ijen located in Banyuwangi (near from Bali Island). Actually, Mount Ijen is about 20 kilometers wide. It has some craters and the crater which is filled by water and forms a lake in the crater known as Kawah Ijen. This crater is larger than Bromo crater, about one-kilometer-wide with turquoise-colored acid lake. Kawah Ijen also as the site of sulfur mining.

Undoubted and the Famous One:

              BALi

The international well-know island which attracting many visitors to spend holiday. The beautiful beaches, nature views, Hinduism culture which are well preserved become a great relaxation place for the visitor. Surfing, sun bathing and many more.
The latest news is the 2013 Miss World Contests will be held in Bali. Wanna come over? ^ ^

To me, Indonesia has many things with a low price. Such as foods (not mention the fast food), lodging/housing, public transportation and many more.
In other sector we still lack on cleanliness, moreover in the downtown. And floods always come in every rainy season at some region.

Talk about how foreigner, the foreign tourist always got benefit from local television station as guest in tv shows. People here are pretty interesting with foreigner, and we called them "bule" (/bu-le)

Indonesian people itself, I think we're kind, polite, but I ever seen very wicked, vicious, demonic, etc person. well, it depend on how we judge that kind of person.
next to Indonesian food. Our food very tasty, the food is also influenced by the culture. It means each region has its typical food. In Java we have Pecel (traditional salad with peanut sauce), Rujak buah (fruits with spicy coconut-sugar sauce), Rujak Cingur, Kikil, Gule, Sate, Soto, Gudeg, etc. We always use banana leaf for wrapping foods until as the plate when we eat. Although we have brown "oil-paper" to reduce the use of banana leaf in addition to save the banana tree itself. Do you know how banana tree is?
